Big Toddle, Big Fun!
Join us on Friday 18th June for a Barnardo’s Big Toddle at Colchester Zoo.
Whether you are a parent, nursery, an early years group or a childminder, register for the Big Toddle- a short
sponsored walk with a pirate theme for children under five.
The Barnardo’s Big Toddle is the biggest, brightest and best fundraising event for under 5s, and Colchester Zoo offers free entry for registered Toddlers and a discount for adults on the day.

All the money raised by Big Toddlers goes to locally-based Barnardo’s projects for children under 5 throughout the UK. It’s all about children helping children. The children’s charity works with vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families, this includes supporting children affected by poverty, homelessness, disability, bereavement and abuse.

Last year, actress and Barnardo’s Ambassador, Michelle Collins, joined Colchester mums, dads and under fives groups at Colchester Zoo for the Barnardo’s Big Toddle 2009, in which £2,181 was raised for Barnardos!
Michelle said: ‘I went on my first Big Toddle for Barnardo’s with my daughter, Maia, eleven years ago. They are really fun events and a great way for children to learn about how they can help children less fortunate than themselves. It’s wonderful that they are fundraising at such a young age. Hopefully their support will continue throughout their lives.’
