Colchester Zoo’s adoption schemes provide vital funds for
the upkeep of animal enclosures, animal food and veterinary costs
but also make a unique present!
You can choose any of the animals at Colchester Zoo to adopt and
in return you will receive a mounted photograph, and lots of information
all about your new charge! What’s more with most schemes you
will receive complimentary day entries with a similar value to the
cost of the adoption!
It costs over £33,000 a day to run Colchester Zoo, so this
is a great way of giving your support.

Gold £125 Plaque Adoption - For £125.00 you will receive:

Just for Gold and Platinum Pass holders is the option to take out a special Pass Holder's adoption. You must have a valid pass to qualify.
Pass holder adoption - For £65.00 you will receive:

You can also adopt an animal at Colchester Zoo's Umphafa Private Nature Reserve in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. Giraffe, Zebra, Blesbok and Red Hartebeest have all been released into the reserve and you can show your support by adopting one of them for just £25. You will be making a contribution towards protecting their future. In return you will recieve:-

- NB UmPhafa adoptions are of a species and not a specific animal. The animals do not have names. The charity is pleased to accept CAF cheques. Company Sponsorship
Companies are now able to sponsor any of the Zoo's enclosures
(subject to availability). We can offer you complimentary tickets,
staff discount tickets, posters and literature. Your corporate image
can be used on the enclosure and we can co-ordinate your PR for
you. Please ask for more information.
Please note important information about the animals will be posted
on the website and will be included within the main E-Letter sent
out twice a month. (If you do not already receive our E-Letter you
can subscribe through the subscribe box in the right hand column
on the homepage.) Please check the news section of the website for
updates about your adopted species.
