All animals adopted remain the property of Colchester Zoo which reserves the right to send them to other establishments, as may be necessary. In such an event, adopters will be offered alternative animals. Please use the box below to indicate any special instructions such as to whom the certificate should be made out and where it is to be sent if different from above. If you have selected an adoption which includes a plaque and you require some additional wording on it we will do our best to help. However, only a maximum of six additional words can be fitted. NB Adoptions are valid for one year. NB. Complimentary Adoption tickets do not qualify holders for free entry into Santa's Grotto. No monetary value is attached to Complimentary Adoption tickets. Adoptions are not exclusively available for any animal. Animal adoption photographs are of the species that has been adopted but necessarily the specific animal. With certain species that are particularly hard to photograph we do reserve the right to use a library shot. Please allow up to two weeks for your adoption to be processed and up to 3 weeks for a plaque to be put on an animal’s enclosure. Adoptions are valid for a period of one year. All animals adopted remain the property of Colchester Zoo. If an animal is no longer available for adoption due to relocation to another establishment or in other circumstances an alternative animal to adopt will be offered.
