Your chance to help endangered species!

Action for the Wild is a charitable trust formed by Colchester Zoo in order to fund conservation programmes for endangered species in the wild. In the last 5 years over £250,000 has been provided to assist projects in the wild and we are asking for your help in order to do more.

Every year, we help a range of endangered species, from reptiles like the Komodo dragon, to birds like the Humboldt penguin and primates such as the Bornean orangutan.

Please help us by contributing to the protection of endangered species:

Donations

In 2010, Action for the Wild will support 15 conservation projects around the world. Please help Action for the Wild to carry out its work by making a donation. Your money can be divided between our projects. Alternatively, you can choose an individual project to make a specific donation. More details on each of our projects can be found on our Action for the Wild website http://www.actionforthewild.org. We help to protect a wide range of species from buffy headed capuchins to orangutans. If you would like to choose a specific project, please write the project name in the Message Box. All donations over £10 will be acknowledged by a certificate of thanks. Thank you very much for your support. (Picture credited to Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation)

Supporting animal species on the UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve

Action for the Wild has released eleven species onto the UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve, including giraffes, zebras, serval cats, blesbok, red hartebeest, waterbuck, nyala, common reedbuck, African rock pythons, white rhinos and two rehabilitated leopard tortoises. We wish to continue with our efforts to protect and monitor these species and their offspring and to release additional species onto the reserve in the future. Please help Action for the Wild to continue its work on UmPhafa by making a donation. All donations over £10 will be acknowledged by a certificate of thanks. Thank you for your support
