A group visit to Colchester Zoo is one you are sure to remember with an excellent range of services and encounter sessions to enjoy. Perfect for enthusiastic photographers, the zoo now also offers a unique guided Photography Tour for groups.
The Photography Tour at Colchester Zoo offers groups the chance to get closer to some of the animals and is hosted by a member of the zoo’s education team. The tour lasts for 1½ hours and whilst visiting some of the zoo’s key enclosures, groups can find out more about the animals through an informative commentary, as well as hints and tips on getting that perfect photograph. One of the highlights of the Photography Tour is a visit to Lemur Islands where groups can get even closer to some of the rarest and most beautiful primates in the world.
Photography Tours are available to groups of 15 – 20 people aged 14 or over. A supplement of £5.00 is charged per person in addition to the group rate and advanced booking is essential.
