Ideal for the younger zoo enthusiasts aged 6-10 to take part in a Fledgling Keeper experience at Colchester Zoo! This Gift Voucher allows the lucky participant to choose when they would like to take part in a Fledgling Keeper experience, sent in a presentation wallet, this is perfect for you to wrap up and give as an unforgettable present! Fledgling Keeper is a morning experience from 10.00am - 12.00pm and includes the chance to get involved in a number of exciting activities whilst meeting a number of animal species on the Familiar Friends section! A keepers’ responsibilities can include anything from mucking out, grooming, socialising or enriching the huge variety of animals in your care, so join the staff on the familiar friends section and learn just what it takes to become a zoo keeper. Activities can include grooming the horses and ponies, finding out more about some of the unusual animals in a bug and reptile handling session as well as helping train or make enrichment toys for some of the animals including goats, wallabies and ferrets plus many more! The package includes a full day ticket to Colchester Zoo for the participating child and an accompanying adult, as well as a personalised certificate and Souvenir Pack to remember the day! Please note this experience is for children aged 6-10.
